JANET A. FIORENZA

Retired Financial Industry Executive

Janet A. Fiorenza has over 39 years of experience in the financial services industry. Janet began her fixed income career in New York City as a founding member of Ehrlich Bober Advisors (EBA) in 1980, which was later purchased by Weiss, Peck and Greer (WPG) in 1988.  At WPG, Janet was a Partner and the Co-Head of the Municipal Fixed Income Group responsible for the management of the firm’s short-term municipal portfolios with assets totaling over $5 billion. In 2005, Janet joined Neuberger Berman (NB) where she became Head of the Municipal Fixed Income Group and was responsible for all of the firm’s municipal mandates, with assets totaling approximately $11 billion. Before retiring in the fall of 2019, Janet was employed by Richter Bober Asset Management LLC as  a municipal investment representative where she worked for over seven years.  

Janet currently is the President of the Board of Trustees of Charleston Stage (five years), serves  on the Roper St. Francis Mt. Pleasant Hospital Board of Directors (five years), served on the Grace Institute Board of Directors from 2012 to 2015, and was a Board member and the Treasurer of the Wild Dunes Community Association from 2016-2017. Janet lives with her husband, Michael Simmons, in Charleston SC.
